A contemporary adjustment of Hindu fanciful story of Satyavan and Savitri (found in Mahabharata), the film spins around Savitri (Niharica Raizada), an unwavering and dedicated spouse, who can go to any degree to spare her significant other Satya (Rajat Barmecha) from the grip of death, regardless of the possibility that it obliges her to consult with Yama (Om Puri plays the God of death).
Savitri grows up to be a “warrior” after a youth memory scars her forever. She chooses to learn hand to hand fighting keeping in mind the end goal to ensure herself and her family. She goes gaga for Satya and wishes to wed him yet a Hindu pandit contradicts the choice. “Your better half beyond words you wed him,” he cautions.
